The gym inside Waterworld was in need of a makeover. With limited space and budget we needed to produce a cost effective solution that suited the gym’s vast member demographic of teenagers through to the elderly.

With the large amount of competition in the surrounding area, Hamilton City Council had approved the re-invention for the gym. Gym managers Janice Eland and Denise Dahlberg worked through a variety of layout options with Colin Walker from Life Fitness.

We created a new workout space upstairs, to accompany the cardio area, with some light dumbbell and barbell options to cater for the novice to elderly member. We also added some cable machines and racks downstairs to cater for the heavy lifters and strength training.
