A Marathon of Compassion, Determination, and Community

We’re delighted to share the exciting highlights from the 2023 Rebel Sport 24 Hour Team Challenge for Cure Kids. This event featured 18 incredible teams, a lineup of Life Fitness treadmills and bikes, and a shared commitment to keep going for a full 24 hours, all in the name of raising funds for Cure Kids.

A Heart-Pounding Journey for a Worthy Cause

The adrenaline-pumping event took place at Eden Park, where sports legends are made. It was a sight to behold as teams from all walks of life, and sporting legends like All Black TJ Perenara, NZ Olympic Athlete Camille Buscomb and many more came together to break a sweat and challenge themselves – all in the name of charity. It’s a reminder that challenges such as this pale in comparison to the daily struggles faced every day by the children supported by Cure Kids.

While the kilometers covered, and the funds raised during this event were truly remarkable – collectively totaling an astounding $161,530!! The 2023 Rebel Sport 24 Hour Team Challenge for Cure Kids was about much more than numbers. It was about the laughter, camaraderie, and the shared belief that when people unite, they can make a significant difference in the lives of those who need it most.

Community Spirit in Action

This event showcased the incredible power of community spirit and what can be achieved when people come together with a shared purpose.
