Quad Power, Unleashed

More than just a squat—this is quad-dominant strength at its finest. The 45-degree angle shifts the load forward, emphasizing quad drive, knee extension, and lower-body explosiveness. Whether accelerating off the line, driving through contact, or building a rock-solid foundation, our unique movement reinforces powerful, game-ready strength. Our controlled path keeps tension where it matters most, allowing athletes to push deep into each rep while maintaining stability and control.

Load Up and Go

Strength has no limits, and neither should a Hack Squat. The two XL weight rods can handle up to eight 45 lb plates per side, totaling a massive 720 lbs of loading potential. Whether chasing raw strength, hypertrophy, or endurance, our plate loaded design allows the athlete to dictate the challenge. Load it up, lock in, and drive through with confidence—because real power is built rep after rep.

Max Load Capacity (per arm)8 x 45 lb plates (8 x 20 kg plates)
Starting Resistance (per arm)125 lb (57 kg)
Storage Weight Horns4
Recommended Plate Mix6 x 45 lb plates, 4 x 25 lb plates

Is the Hack Squat good for training glutes?
While the Hack Squat primarily targets the quads, it does engage the glutes and hamstrings to some degree—especially at deeper depths. However, if your goal is maximum glute activation, our Pendulum-X Squat is the superior choice. It shifts the load and range of motion in a way that truly optimizes posterior chain engagement.

Why choose the Hack Squat over traditional squats?
The 45-degree angle allows for a more quad-focused movement while reducing spinal loading compared to free-weight squats. This means you can push heavier, control depth, and drive through each rep with consistent tension—all while keeping your back and core supported.

How deep should I go on the Hack Squat?
Depth depends on mobility and strength, but going below parallel increases quad activation and overall muscle recruitment. The controlled path of motion lets athletes safely explore their full range of strength, with a flip-in/flip-out racking system for seamless start and stop points.

Are there multiple rack out positions on the Hack Squat?
Yes—there are two different racking positions to accommodate users of varying sizes and their respective starting positions.
